It starts with good material — full-grain leather chosen for character, feel and how it will wear.
Cut & skive
Panels are cut and edges pared by hand so seams sit flat and the piece keeps its shape.
Saddle-stitch
Two needles, one waxed thread, pulled by hand — the strongest, longest-lasting stitch in leatherwork.
Finish & burnish
Edges are creased and burnished, hardware set, and the piece checked over before it reaches the shelf.
